BOAT ANCHORS...? HEY, NONE OF MY CARS HAVE CHEBBY MOTORS...

Smitty's Fords are so fast 'cause some of 'em have Chevy motors.
They'd be even faster if he didn't mount 'em backa$$wards!

Oh shoot! I hope I didn't race those things backwards!

YOU KNOW WHY THEY PAINT CHEBBIES ENGINES ORANGE ? ...... SO WE DON'T TRIP ON THEM IN THE WOODS....
FORD POWERED, THE WAY GOD AND HENRY INTENDED IT !

So many old Fords have Chevy motors 'cause there are no old Chevys to put them in.........

Received my digi-scale today...size is perfect. Now I can narrow down my entries for the Featherweight Challenge.

. Now I can narrow down my entries for the Featherweight Challenge.

Hope it weighs in tenths of a gram.
You might be surprised at how many mainlines are < 35g.

It does...many of the mainlines that I've weighed are in the 37-42g range. I've found several cars in my fleet that I metal on metal cars that are under 35g...sssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhh

Once I realized that a full card weighes approximately 11 grams I started weighing the cars without unpackaging them! In the short time that I've been doing this I've amassed 62 car-like mainlines >35g, 19 different FTEs >35g and 13 "fantasy cars" >35g.

I finally bought some 1x6s and now I've got to build a track and start testing!

2 metal on metal cars that are under 35g

I'm assuming that's the only reason they are metal on metal. Because there is so little of it there!

A lot of the fast cars that I sorted out, They are right near 35 g's, so then I'm like, how do I customize it? It's already there. It makes me think more. Ouch my brain! Who came up with this darn Featherweight Challenge anyway!

My scale doesn't do tenths of gram either. So I have to be happy when it says a flat 34. It goes up to 55 pounds max! I hope it's accurate down in those lower gram areas!

Yes, the cars are pesky if they manage to find the middle of the track.
