Just checking as I finish up my car; is the new rule 60g max as opposed to the orginal posting of 57g?
I printed out the race details to a PDF so I can review what I needed to build and what the dates are, etc.... But as I was about to finalize weight, I went to see and noticed the difference from the when it was first announced, to the current posting that is up now. Thought I would verify that your new limit is 60g.

OK I'll be sending in Santa's Little Helper Rev 2.0. - need to go rummage thru the dark forgottten spaces where the freaky cars lurk.
This race is a good excuse to run this one. In all it's orange glory.
I would like to participate in your race, but the issue that I have been having is payment types. I have mailed a check and it turns out it was a fund raiser, so all the money went to the fund raiser with no money going to the return postage. What forms of payments are accepted or what messaging platform are you using, Thank you so much, SReynolds.

Finally finished my first ever modified car. We have the 2025 Street Weiner that we converted to Santa's Helper Delivery Weiner. We found that by taking out the cases of hot dogs and buns from the inside, we could add presents to the car to deliver to children. In the process, we were able to add about 22g to the overall weight for stability.
One little hickup, the original weiner driver insisted he be the only one to drive this car. So I explained to him that he would have to cut 1/4" off of his hat to qualify, he decided he still wanted to do it. Weiner Gnome will be atop the driver's seat for this race. I have to keep the employees happy. :-)
What I really liked about this build? it was my first. It rolls straight. I played with new tools and gadgets. I got to use my imagination. And the whole time MamaGnome was helping along the way so we had fun together bringing this car to it's conclusion. It may not be the fastest, or it might not finish the race, but it is the attempt that makes us learn on what to do next time.

Decided I needed to double my pain and double my effort during this holiday season. So these two are on the road right now.

- MamaGnome was jealous of your trucks with real presents on them. We had no place for little boxes, so she had to paint them on. Got a little 'black' paint on the tires, but it should be fine. Nice trucks you have, and we dig the presents attached. — RacerGnome
- @RacerGnome: Hey, you could have used tungsten weights on the front end and repainted them to look like little presents. That big spatula spoiler would've held 'em. — SpyDude
- Actually, there is lead tape on the front scoop. Then a coat of paint on the tape. Then the lines painted. Then the stickers. So yep! There is some extra weight in the front. — RacerGnome
