The Spring Nash'onals

This is the first race at Flips Strip for the 2026 race season. This will be a modified race. We will be racing "The Nash" casting. It MUST BE THE NASH CASTING. If not, the car will be disqualified. All cars are due by 4/3/26. If your car doesn't make it on time you will not make the race. This will be a timed event. Cars will get one run down each lane with their fastest time being recorded. Any tiebreakers will be determined by the second lap time. After each round the field will be cut in half until we have a winner. The winner will receive a trophy. 2nd and 3rd will receive medals.

Rules & restrictions

• Modified entries only
• 50.99g maximum weight
• Can NOT change the wheel size 
• CAN use color wheels
• No bearings or bushings
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed. Axle Tube's ok
• Any lube
• No stretching 
• Nothing can be added to the car to manipulate the timer 
• 2 car limit per team 
• $5 per car
• $10 for return IF you want your car back
• $30 for return shipping outside of the US

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Saturday, 4/4/2026. Racing is scheduled for Saturday, 4/4/2026. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

Include at least $10 in US $30 outside of US for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be given to the winner as part of the prize.

Race format and scoring

•This will be a timed event.
•Cars will be randomly paired to make their runs
•All cars will get 1 run down each lane with their fastest time recorded
•Any tiebreakers will be determined by the second lap time.
•The field will be cut in half after each round until we have a winner.

Penalties/DNF

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory.
Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
