Race format and scoring
This is going to be a top-3 tourney where the top three fastest cars become the Top Dogs. One event per weekend will take place where mailed-in cars will race to dethrone the top 3. Incoming cars will first race against each other or one of my top cars to determine if they are fast enough. Only then will they be eligible to race their way up the mountain. Limit eight cars per week so everyone has a chance to compete. If I am unable to host a race on a weekend, I will post on the forum to let all participants know. In the case of multiple entries, I will only race one car per week when the limit of 8 cars has been reached.

Cars will be returned to owners when all of thier entries have been knocked out of the top 3 spots. Please be sure to include $7 shipping for the return of your cars.

Penalties/DNF
Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, I will run it, but it will not be eligible for any top spots.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track or that happen to break during racing will forfeit and be sent home. Cars that arrive broken will be sent home as well.

Prizes
Bragging rights.

I'll enter a few as well. It doesnt say in the post, but how musch for shipping? Once a car loses will it be shipped back in a somewhat reasonable time frame or all cars shipped back after the tournament sends?

I'll send one

This is a continually running Top 3 correct, and I can send cars thoughout the year etc? Until they are knocked out of the top 3 spots than they are returned. I'll definitely send some back to you brother

Hi Racers, if you have sent cars for this event, please let me know so I can keep an eye out for them.

So, in short, a rip-and-run plus dry lube? No modifications, "run what you brung"? Is this realistic cars only, or are fantasy/concept cars allowed?

Due to the summer heat, and my garage being over 100 degrees even at night, I moved my track into my house. I currently have it set up in one of my  bedrooms along the longest wall in the room. With me hosting this four month event, I made this choice so it will be easier to hold these races. I have shorter and lower ramp and my fastest cars cover the roughly 10 feet in just over 2 seconds. If the cars go any faster, they will not trip the sensor because of the design of the Slanman system. It is still racing, just at a much slower pace. I hope everyone will still be willing to send cars as this is part of the reason I enjoy this hobby so much. I will be posting a video on youtube tomorrow of the new setup.

I'll send some in.

There is lots of discussion lately about race hosts and a grading system etc.    Freedom Diecast has had a few hiccups along the way but has been adapting and changing a few things to fit conditions and had very low turnout recently (only me......and I still lost!) but I believe that is because of the short due date that was posted and the "new track" hesitancy.  What I can tell you is that communication and follow through are great with Llyod and my cars are quickly returned and in great shape and packed as well as I sent them.   His track is new,  his productions and voice over get better with every video.......and he seems to CARE about the customer service side of handling my cars. (As have almost all hosts I have sent to).
