Welly Diecast cars
So, yesterday I posted a picture of a yellow citreon 2cv in the foreign cars race thread.
I have seen these cars in movies, and have always loved the ugliness of it.
I found that corgi casting for 50 cents in a box at the toy show. Of course, I grabbed it with the thoughts of racing it as my foreign car entry. But I just cannot bring myself to do it. I love the casting too much. Lol
So, being curious, I looked on eBay... ( discovered how rare it might be, and pricey too.
One thing lead me to another, and another, and wellll you all know how it is...
I discovered this... A whole new world of diecast cars. Maybe they have been around as long as dirt, I don't know, but I am seeing some pretty nice castings, ( as well as some laughable takes on some AMERICAN classics, I admit) that I've never seen before. Like the Mercedes G-Wagon for example.
Just wondering if anyone else has seen these... Perhaps our Aussie racer or our friend across the pond passes these by every day.
