What kind of music does everyone like?
What kind of music does everyone here listen to? I like to listen to Classic Rock, Hard Rock, some Grunge rock, Heavy Metal, Thrash Metal, some Death Metal, some Progressive Metal, Grindcore, Classic Metal, 80's and 90's Country, and some newer country (I don't care for a lot of the newer country).

Have you tried Americana (the new "outlaw" country)? Otherwise only Classic Rock from your list is on mine. Which includes anything from Andrea Bocillie, Sara Brightman, U2, Ray Price, Robert Johnson, Santana, Led Zepplen to Wagner. No, RAP either.
I don't care for rap either. I'll check out Americana.... Here's an expiramental band that the guys from a metal band called Pantera made with David Allan Coe: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RERzMSCtz9k They called the genre "Country Metal". It's really interesting....
To much metal for me, but I do like Johnny Cash's version of Hurt by the Nine Inch Nails.

And one of our wedding songs was a ballad by Extreme off their Pornograffitti album called "More than Words"
Haven't heard those ones yet. I can't find Americana's music for some reason....
Americana is a style. I listen more to the Texas Country groups. Here is the top twenty currently. If you listen to some of the newer country music you are probably familiar with Jason Alden who was part of the Texas Country music scene, but has become more country/pop lately.
OK, I thought Americana was a band. Yes I have heard of Jason Aldean, he's not my favorite, but he has a few songs I like.
Edit: I just listened to the some of the music off of the chart in the link, sounds awesome!
There hasn't been any music in the USA since Doris Day, retired.....
nuthin' but the blues yall !

That was my time! I had the bell bottom jeans/pants, platform shoes and obligatory polyester shirt with a gold chain - sorry absolutely no pics remain!
