Hi all! I am seeking drivers and their cars to compete at my replica outdoor Bathurst racing track.
Incase your wondering, I have contacted 3D and he has no issues with me using the King of the Mountain.
It is a title synonymous with Bathurst and the legendary Peter Brock.
Rules & restrictions
- Stock and modified entries allowed
- No weight limit
- 1/64 scale. Rearward weighted and longer wheel bases do best.
- Limit 5 entries per household
- Plastic wheels only
- Any lube is allowed
- No fantasy cars or offroaders (4wd). Dont care if they're ugly, just make them fast.
- If you want your car returned, please include a prepaid package or contact me via email for other arrangements.
Dates & deadlines
All entries must be received within 8 weeks from September9th 2023. 1st semi finals scheduled for Thursday, 10/5/2023. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.
How to enter
Contact the tournament host to get the shipping address for entry.
Include a prepaid package for return shipping if you want your entries back or email me for other arrangements. Entries not getting returned will be kept by Bathurst Diecast Racing.
Include a Race Entry ID slip with your entry
Track
Racing will be on the Bathurst Diecast Racing. View track profile and specs
Race format and scoring
Points will be as follows.
If you cross the finish line: 5,4,3,2
If you make it past the tyre bridge but not across the line: 4,3,2,1.
If you dont pass under the bridge: 3,2,1,0
In the case of a draw, a count back of finishing positions and finish line crosses will determine the winner.
If 2 or more are even, both cars will move on to the next round. The reason for this is I don't know the results of each race until I do the editing.
Penalties/DNF
Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.

We really like sportscar and endurance racing over here so we are exited about racing on a miniature replica track even though we have not watched a whole lot of Bathurst in particular. We've got two cars to enter if you've still got space.
