Glad to see someone finally using the rankings site to make their picks! The only issue is that i've bought a lot of new cars this year and most of them aren't on the website yet because they haven't been in an official tournament.... so sadly, the site isn't too useful at the moment. :/ I plan on doing a complete reset after this tournament is over and starting fresh. Then ill probably limit my purchasing... haha.
Sadly, we had a casualty in the race. I hadn't noticed that this Super Comp had a bent wheel and my only replacement is out with the lightweights! I'll give EconoCarl +1 for that mishap. Sorry!

Easy first round for all 4 races. The Shredster had no issues defeating the evil Vampyra, the Cat-A-Pult had a free win vs the not-so-super Super Comp, Turbolence destroyed the mediocre fastback and the Fire Eater had no trouble with the old school beatnik bandit.
The second round was closer, but still mostly easy wins. The closer match being Shredster vs the Cat-A-Pult, the later of which just barely held on to the C grade loss. The Turbolence on the other side of the bracket showed a strong performance vs the Fire Eater and was able to pick up a B grade win. In the finals, we had our first close race! The legendary Shredster, whose had more tournament wins on this track then races his opponent has even run, gave one hell of a fight. Despite the car being over 10 years old, it still kept up with the young Turbolence and only lost by half a car length. It was close, but the win goes to Jobe and the Black Turbolence!
No major changes in the player rankings. Jobe picked up two spots on the leaderboard and hes now within only 2 points of third place! With Turbolence, he now has a car in the grand finals!

Trust me JDC, I was hoping the Shredster would win too as its one of my favorite cars! So much history and good memories behind that car. It's a little sad to see a car which was dominant on my track for years finally get knocked down a few places. It's still quick, but it just can't keep up with this new wave of cars!
...speaking of new waves of cars, this being the last round, I realized that I hadn't put some fast cars in yet and so this last round is pretty much all new and fast rods. Going to be an intense race, pretty much anything picked is a good bet!

Just my luck! I finally use the rankings, pick the one on top, and this happens!
Man, I didn't even see the Fire Eater! Now I notice the Turbo Flame, and I say that guy is gonna be a strong contender.
