About

I started building CARL at the end of 2020. It's an open road track, a scale 1 mile long from start to finish. There are 11 turns and a scale 400+ foot elevation drop. It's a mix of orange and custom 3d printed track for the divided portion. Mostly Crash racers for the rest.

Learning arduino so that I could make the timing system took the most time. I also really love the diorama aspect. I've designed, printed, and scratch built everything you see using just about every material and process imaginable.

I recently forced myself to just start making videos. The first season will consist of 4 team tournaments, followed by a League tournament. I'm working hard to get one video out every two weeks. Although I intend to get more efficient over time, it currently takes me over 20 hours to produce each video to what I feel is a minimum quality standard. I really just do whatever I find entertaining, and hope others find it so as well. 

The first season will take almost 2 years to finish. I'll see where it's at after that. I'd love to be able to commit to it full time, but I'm enjoying the journey. I look forward to your feedback.
