Will stocks and mods race separately?
- There are no separate classes. Because the weight limit is on the lower end, I figured someone might have a stock car that is fast that might just need some lube. I think most will be making a mod but didn't want to exclude anyone who just wants to send in a fast stock. — RancidCactus

I just wanted to say Thank You for accepting my car in my first ever race. It was a learning experience. Funny thing is, I am only now learning more about how YouTube works and how to find things. When I entered your race and later went to find out how my car did, I did not find it. Since you had 22 cars, and were looking for top 16; I wrote it off that I just missed the cut and never got to race.
Today I decided to see how my cars have done over the races I have entered, and I started with yours. Wow! Lo' and Behold, I did make the top 16 of qualifiers and got to race in the heat races. I may have finished last, but at least I got to race. First car out of the package, no taking apart, no modification, just put in a box and send it as a new car as-is. I entered stock.
Now here it is only 6 months later and I have learned how to modify a car and a truck. I have entered 10 other races, have a few to send out next week, and I have 6 cars I am building for upcoming races happening over the next couple of months.
With today's learning of how to use YouTube, I got to see my car race on your track, and I am a happy racer. It made my day and it is not even 10:00 AM yet. <lol>
- Awesome! I usually accept more than I want to make sure we have a full bracket. I usually do Prelims for the the bottom teams so that everyone gets to see their car race instead of a single 2 sec time trial and then never again. Glad you sent one in. - I looked back and there were only 16 teams that were mailed in that tournament and you qualified 13th. I also ran a distance tournament with all 16 cars so you could see how they rolled vs everyone else. — RancidCactus

I picked out a car the other day, and my scale arrived yesterday. My wife knew I wanted to mail this away and this morning she found a perfect little box. She opened up a new perfume bottle to take out of the box, and she was going to unfold it and put it in the recycling bin. Then she had an 'ah-ha' moment!
She came out this morning with this cute little box that I can ship my car in. I love that MamaGnome!
So I weighed my car, completed the entry form, grabbed 'TWO' Dollar Bills out of the Fort Knox Safe, and wrapped the whole thing nice & tidy.
