2021 Diecast Games

Just like the last 2 Games. 10 Events, You send in 4 castings, 1 American, 1 Euro, 1 Asian and 1 Fantasy. Olympic style competition.

Rules & restrictions

• Stock entries only
• 65g maximum weight
• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• Limit 1 Team per person, 2 Teams per household
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
• Dry lube only

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host by Saturday, 7/31/2021. Racing is scheduled for posting Saturday, 9/4/2021. Results will be posted weekly after that date as is convenient for the host.

Include at least $10 for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be given to the winner as part of the prize.

Track

10 different tracks, 1/4 mile. 1/2 mile. 1 mile, the marathon roll, Slalom, Fat Track Free For All, the Climb, the Push, the Obstacle and the 4 Car Relay. These can be indoor or outdoor depending on weather.

Race format and scoring

This will be an Olympic style tournament. Each car will participate in the 4 Car Relay & Fat Track Free For All and then in 4 of the other 8 events. Each team will have 2 entries in each of the other events. So you have to place your entries in certain events. The top half of the field in each event will get points.

FTFFA Bracket seeding will be random but insure that any one team will not have 1 car in each of the quarter final brackets.

Penalties/DNF

Cars will have NO GRACE OVERAGE of the stated weight limit of 65 grams by my scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for the games. Offending cars will withdrawn.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
