Dates & deadlines

How to enter

Use this Form:

Send your entries to:
Jim Potts
111 Redbud Drive
Shelbyville, TN 37160

Include at least $10 for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be given to the winner as part of the prize.

Track

10 different tracks, 1/4 mile. 1/2 mile. 1 mile, the marathon roll, Slalom, Fat Track Free For All, the Climb, the Push, the Obstacle and the 4 Car Relay. These can be indoor or outdoor depending on weather.

Race format and scoring

This will be an Olympic style tournament. Each car will participate in the 4 Car Relay & Fat Track Free For All and then in 4 of the other 8 events. Each team will have 2 entries in each of the other events. So you have to place your entries in certain events. The top half of the field in each event will get points.

FTFFA Bracket seeding will be random but insure that any one team will not have 1 car in each of the quarter final brackets.

Penalties/DNF

Cars will have NO GRACE OVERAGE of the stated weight limit of 65 grams by my scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for the games. Offending cars will withdrawn.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.

Prizes

I send castings to most participants just for participating. The winners gets a little nicer castings.

F40, Firebird FC, Way 2 Fast, dunno on the Asian car, I suck at those!

  • Nissan, Toyota, Datsun, Kia, Hyundai, Mazda, how much more of these than our European! — Big_Poppy

Looking forward to racing this year again BP.

My goal is to go with a whole new line up. So far 3 out of 4 will be new rides. And the Polar Studie will not be making the trip this time around.

My struggle is trying to replace my fantasy casting. So far it's scared away any competition I've thrown at it.

After participating and watching last year, I've got a better idea of what does well in which events.  Looking forward to trying to tackle it anew this year.
