2nd Annual 1/4 Mile Race

My cars will be shipped via UPS tomorrow.

My carded stock entry is a 'Monte Carlo Stocker' from the `97 'Pro Racing basic' series. Its covered with terror since I set it free from the blister.

I'm just tryin' to do my best to get our cars back without risking "the farm"...we'll see.

Edit 12/1: My box of cars should arrive @ the race host on Monday. I also donated a couple of 'vintage repros' (1 carded/1 loose) to be added to the prize packs.

Well guys I'm in this race, and my wife and son will be racing cars with me. I can't wait for this thing to happen,...we are racing 2 CTS-V, 2 Hammerheads FTE 2 , and Camaro Concept FTE 2. It should be a good race...can't wait to this thing to happen!

It seems that yesterday was the deadline for race entries, so I assume 'Ghostjerker' (YouTube race host) is running the brackets today.

After seeing all of the other entries, I'll be surprised if either of my cars make it past the 2nd round in each class. I think my 'stocker' might have a miracle against the heavier cars.

He said he has the day off Monday so he's gonna race all day, he hopes to he the video results up on Tuesday

against the heavier cars.

Don't count yourself out of the race yet...I have the Super Six Lane that he is racing on, and I can tell you that the heaver cars don't always win the races. It's the lighter cars that can maintain the speed on the straights!

The first race results were just uploaded on YouTube...Both of my barely squeaked out a win in the flat. My red `stang looks surprisingly good...I just hope the graphite holds out. LOTS of fast cars & LOTS more racing results to be posted.
