Ace your way to victory
Ok folks time to get you cars ready to battle it out on the mountain.
Thunder Mountain is hosting
Ace High tournament
Ace high is a regular List / ladder style elimination 2 car head to head battle.
Your car will have a chance to move up the roster to challenge for top spot. It will also give you more regular races making the build and postage worth while.
Looking for this series; street cars.
Anything that has a real manufacturer: muscle car, exotic, daily driver, sleeper, rat rod, JDM, hot hatch etc.
How you present your street car is up to you.
No profanity or questionable logos/pics or txt or it will not pass scrutineers.
Cars limited to maximum of 60g

Shake down on rules
We can kick off once we receive 10 or so cars. 12 would be ideal more is also fine.
Host will enter local cars to make up numbers to begin (if need be) and after tournament is officially underway will be treated as any other competitor.
There is no timing system on the mtn yet (unless someone would like to sponsor/donate/steal-please don’t steal) so I can’t seed with lap times ( track timer graciously provided by Marcus Firegone from Snow Valley Racing)
Cars will be assigned a random playing card and that will be used to randomly select matchups in opening round (mini series) to seed the initial ranks.
That seeding series will be minimum 2 lap head to head race with the 1st to win 2 races to advance to next round
*system changed for qualifiers just due to amount of entries...all good just makes for more fun and shows cars true potential. We will revert back to head 2 head once roster is set for the 1st time!
To carry on the tournament theme, the ranking system of top 13 roster will be:
Etc down to 2 and then Joker (if any)
***2 laps fastest time or 2 wins will take the victory *(One race per challenge)*
***Cars will use both lanes with lower ranked car starting lap 1 on outside *(The lower ranked card will always be on the outside starting lane)
Race structure is:
lower ranked car takes on the next card and winner of that race then challenges the next one and so on swapping positions on the overall rank as appropriate.
ie: 2 vs 3 winner of that takes on 4 etc
If you crash & DNF onto roof (no wheels touching track ) you loose automatically
If you both end of roof or DNF
a maximum of 2 restarts will be allowed then it goes to car furthest on track if need be.
You will be deemed a winner if you finish race 1st and slide on roof over finish line.
If you don’t make top13 there will be regular Joker battles to get into top13 roster.
Any new cars that show up will have 1 free joker to try to get onto roster. In the case of 2 jokers in that race the new car will be seeded the higher car.
At tournament end(no set date maybe start of new year???)
Top 4 cars will automatically be entered into next series.
The reminder of cars will be awarded and sent to the winner (the holder of the Ace card after the final race).
Consider your build, watch a few videos, the heaviest car may not be the quickest and the fastest may not be consistent. It’s an unknown quantity, let’s see how it pans out.
Thank you and good luck!
