All at once or little bit throughout the year?

Being new to collecting new hot wheels, do they release all 250 cars all at once at the beginning of the year or little at a time throughout the year? Seems to me down here in florida that I will see a lot of a casting for a while, then it gets a little more scarce only to be overshadowed by another casting.

I do believe they stagger the releases by Case letter.

They do not release the cases all at once.

Thanks for letting me know, this brings up a follow-up question, what do all the different case letters mean? Different types of cars? Number of a certain version or something?

36 different cars put in a box,mostly 2 of each.then released each month all different ones on each box,fantasy,real,trucks,race cars. — RalphsRacers
15 cases a year lettered A - Q BUT skipping I & O. Also, there will be "holdovers" that appear in a later case so you get a second chance at some at the pegs — Chris_Hood

Check out Lamely Group on YT for his unboxings. John does them when those cases are ready to hit USA locations. If you go to Ministry of Diecast or WS Mart, they preview cases far in advance — Chris_Hood
