Anyone else get this sometimes? RLD not loading
I just got for the first time now. First was when I hit the next page button at the bottom of the previous page on this thread. So I got out of the site and got back into it, then hit the menu>forum button, and it went to the error page repeatedly.
I just got it on my phone when I clicked on the new message icons at the top, the one that looks like comic dialog bubbles.
I usually get it when I click the 'E' top right to look at account
Heads up that my web host is offering little help or support, so that leaves me just trying things...deleting this, deleting that, and so on...soooooo hopefully I won't hit the nuke button. But if you see the site complete offline, trust that I'm frantically trying to fix things.
Thanks for your patience and understanding. I appreciate your support.
I did a thing...not sure if it'll make a difference so please keep reporting when you see the spam link page, even if you've already seen it prior to this comment.
- I’ve been getting the page again this morning. Clicking on Forum did it for me — Road_Runner_Rumble
- @Ozboy the forum was doing it yesterday for me — ManiacMotorsports
- Yeah it's pretty bad this morning — Dutch_Clutch_Racing
I discovered that there's been a lot of increased search bot traffic to the site over the past month, so I changed some settings (I think) to block some of those. I don't know if it will help but if those bots were crawling and making the website hit some limits, it might trigger the link farm page. Dunno...worth a shot and won't hurt anything otherwise.
I'll continue grabbing at straws...
- If you can identify the 'toxic' links, create a spreadsheet and upload into the Google Disavow tool. This will then block the troublesome bot traffic etc — Road_Runner_Rumble
- I don't know if the bots are troublesome, my hunch is it's not. I found the parking page is also showing on other websites with the same host so this is bigger than just RLD, bonus. — redlinederby
A glitch in the matrix, no big deal. You're doing a great job redlinederby, thank you.
- I appreciate the support. It's just annoying this comes out of the blue when nothing has been changed for the site otherwise. Totally out of the blue. — redlinederby
FYI, I have (had) been getting them over the past week or so. I usually hit Referesh and it will bring up the real page. I am in the Reading Forums section when it happens, and I use a laptop with Microsoft Edge.

Got the screen again.
This domain name has just been registered.
Why is this page displayed?
adimg.uimserv.net/1und1/Werbemittel/IONOS/us_defaultpage.html
Then of course the whole popular categories type screen portion.
Laptop, Windows 11, Microsoft Edge
Just a quick update that the tech support has been surprisingly responsive to all this and they actually saw the same parking page scenario too, which is great. They're supposedly investigating and will hopefully let me know what I can do to help solve it.
But while turning knobs and levers to try and find a solution, I did discover that the parking page is also appearing on other websites I run that use the same host. Bonus! That tells me that this problem is bigger than just RLD. That's not good but it kinda tells me that the problem is not (necessarily) something bad that's happening on the RLD website.
I wish I could just hit a reboot button but alas, I don't have access to such a thing.
Again, thanks for all the support and patience...and the beat goes on...
this is from the link of the page
don't know if thats your host

- Interesting. That is the web host I use. Did this appear when you typed in the website, or just a regular click of a link? I'm encouraged that it's a different screen than the parking lot of links. — redlinederby
- the "why this page" link — dr_dodge
- Yeah I get that one too — CutRock_R_Marc_D
Me too

Happens to me as well. Happened just before this log in. It's been happening for a few weeks.
