B Sting Saltflats racer

awhile back i couldn't find a saltflats racer... dealer told me that the japanese race hot wheel on LONG rooftop tracks, S.F.R. was king, they bought every one he had !

I bought a boot box of Hot Wheels and other MB andLensy cast cars a while back for 5 bucks. Turns out I got about 400 cars and a brand new Hot Wheels radar gun...and a black B Sting Saltflats racer. Go figure.

What a smoking deal!

That Salt Flat racer has to be one of the ugliest castings I've ever seen. I have a couple of those and no color combination in the world can help it.

I've never opened any of mine to race them, but they appear to have some 'forward bias' by the looks of those BIG metal fairings behind the front wheels. I think our faster with all that weight near the nose.
