Bare Muscle 4
Hey Guys,
I'm planning on running a Bare Muscle race this Fall...probably starting this Labor Day. I'll post an official thread soon, probably this weekend.
If you aren't familiar with this race, it features cars from the 'Muscle Car" era with all the paint stripped off and just the roof painted. Each racer has there own color.
This race has been 'winner take all' race in the past, but I will make that a little different this year...each team will have a 40 gram car and a 57 gram car, with an optional third car (can be either weight)...and at least one of the cars needs to be donated to the winner (if not all of them).
Let me know who's in and who would like to host a race. Thanks Guys...it should be fun!

I think I talked TE into running...maybe we can get some more 'old time' racers involved!
My question....my host track would be Bootleg Run and it would have to be the week following if you kicked it of Labor Day weekend in NJ....Bare Muscle on Bootleg Run???

Bare Muscle is one of my favorites. Definitely will be racing and can host if you need me. Excited to hear TE may be racing too!

HotWheelsRacing...what I listed above is pretty much front and center aka Standard Operating Procedures for a Modified race here on RLD...I jumped right in and learned the ropes a little over a year ago...going to Target or Walmart...popping them out of the blister pack and slapping some graphite on them...won't get you outta the 1st Round around here 9 outta 10 times...this is a section of the Big Leagues in Diecast Racing.
...commit to building speed or get smoked...the choice is yours.

- Embrace it!!! Pop the rivets , follow the steps LoS gave you. Watch some videos on you tube, read everything you can on this site and race. I guarantee you’ll get smoked but you’ll have a hell of a time doing so. And before you know it you’ll be competitive. — 41-14

I'm in and may be able to host...I'll let you know, as the Vettes finish on Labor Day weekend on Bootleg Run and I'll be running the Dixie Gran Prix then as well.
