Thoughts on the Trophy...
Two Trophies...?
Main Event Trophy: The 2-car team that earns the most points get's this trophy and all but one of the cars.
Top 40 Trophy: The owner of the 40 gram car that earns the most points will get his car back and a small trophy to honor his Top 40 car
Does this sound like something you guys could go for?
This is one of the first trophies I made. It was made for that year's Fantasy League Champion.
My thoughts on the trophies...
What you mentioned above doesn't give the top 57 gram car a prize...I think, two trophies (with the top 3 cars in each weight...the podium, if you will). And the best combined team points get the rest of the cars as a prize. I don't think there needs to be an 'overall team trophy' ...chances are, the best total will be from one of the teams that has winning car in either the 40 or 57...and they would already have one trophy.

Smitty called...is computer went down. But the cars for Stroller are on their way. Should be there early next week from both Smitty and me.
So, if I am understanding this correctly, the builder of the best 40g car will get a trophy, and the builder of the best 57g car will get a trophy as well. Then, the team with best COMBINED points gets all the cars, except for the ones on the trophies?

Track prep has begun! I have not hosted in a while and the full track has not been in one piece for months. I’ll be spending a couple nights this week doing my best to get the track level and even in both lanes for racing. I’ll be using past racers, and known fast cars to dial in the track. I’ll be running my standard Drag Tracks, scale 1/4 mile (20ft 6.25in) one section of track in the drop, and the rest will be flat through the finish to a Sloppy Stoppa! Might try a newer camera with a better picture…test runs will determine if it’s better or not.
I’ll be unpacking and weighing the cars as well… and making sure they all roll well, or at a minimum roll…
Brackets will be a random draw, unless otherwise instructed by the race organizer. 40g Bracket, and 57g bracket will race separately, then…winners of each side will race for a Final victory.? I think?
C-10 please chime in with how points will be awarded. My assumption is 1pt per win, bonus point for overall win? Bonus point for inter class (40g vs 57g) win?
