Discussion

I'm throwing this out there and volunteering to host the first race. NASCARKeith came up with the series idea and discussion is here...

Any rule clarifications bring them up now.

Anybody want to race reply in this thread.

Also anyone willing to host, please reply in this thread.

Any thoughts or suggestions please bring them right on up.

I'm in....just need to dig up some cars from the right era/s.

Plenty of time.

I think we will leave it up to NascarKeith to assign car numbers. Otherwise you think, first come first served if you want specific numbers?

Personally, if I had a choice i'd take 40 and 43, but that's just me.

So the casting must have numbers on it, or if the car was a nascar racer...we can add our own Numbers?..or leave it blank?

I think the idea is, you add the number to the car. You will be assigned a number. If you want a specific number you can request it when you reply in this thread, but it's not guaranteed you will get that number. NASCARKeith is handing out the numbers.

I assume you can paint the numbers on, or draw them on with a pen or tape pieces of paper with the number right onto the car. Whatever it takes. You just don't want them to fall off.

Gotcha.

I'm in for racing and hosting.

If it's possible, I'd be good with the numbers 24 & 25 or 45 & 46. Those are numbers I have from the two series that are being raced now. Or whatever works best.

Great!

So far Tastelikedirt has 40 and 43. Of course I will run the 3 and 88.

Sign up and let us know what numbers you want. I believe we are all adults and should be able to pick our own numbers without arguing .

The idea with the numbers is to keep it in the spirit of NASCAR. Early cars were stock cars with glass removed or taped and numbers. If nothing else paint them on with white out.

Stroller Racing wants in on this one....Have to see what I got.....and my team needs numbers assigned. This should be cool....Nascar fan when Richard Petty ruled over it.....btw I do not want # 43.....

Glad To See His Event Take Place. For Me Its Hard Finding A Pre 72 Diecast Thats Reasonable Priced. Im In I Will Race And Host. I Would Like To Request #9 And Have To Look For The Pre 72 Car Before I Request A Number For That one.
