Big changes

Well Gang, I've made a tough tough decision. I've decided to remove myself from the dedicated account I was assigned to for the fact it was not good for my state of mental health.

( my bosses were difficult)

I'm heading back out on 48 states and I'm gonna have to be out for 2-3 or more weeks at a time.

What you see pictured above is my new truck. Brand new. 37 miles new.

My first brand new truck. Only took me 8 years, 11months and 2 days. 600,000 consecutive safe miles, 100% on time, 2 injuries with 2 surgeries and a whole Lotta tolerance and patience. LOL

UNFORUNTELY, it is going to keep me from my work bench at home, but, I will now have room enough for a portable chop shop.

I know, I've not built but a few cars to race because of my lack of free time, and this new change will make it even tougher, but we'll see what happens!!

Rest assured, I'll still lurk and joke and comment. You can count on it.

Yep.

Good luck, friend. I know switching gigs isn't easy and unnerving...but bitch bosses are almost worse.

And it does look like a sweet truck. I don't really know a bad truck from a good one, but if it's new then it can't be all bad. Needs some stickers or something though...in fact, I see a spot for an RLD sticker. And I thought all the Werner trucks were blue? Is that one of the kind that has a little sleeping space or cot or something?

I'm going to make it a point to have more stock/rip-n-roll tournaments so those you should be able to enter with ease. Roll into a Walmart, pick some out and send em in from the road.

I'll be looking for you when you roll through central Ohio! 10-4, good buddy.

Update,

Since Oct 10,2015...

My odometer has jumped from 36 miles to...

46,299

And life keeps rolling along for the better!

I took a 7 cent's a mile pay cut to get away from "Those of whom we do not speak" ( translation:$7,000 a year)

Only to find out, between my regular annual raise, the across the board company drivers 48 state division, 5 cent a mile pay raise, and the mysterious another penny a mile that just appeared 2 weeks ago, I am right back where I was when I got the new truck.

Life is GOOOOOOD!!  LOL

REALLY looking forward to showing my wife OUR BEAUTIFUL US of A!!! She'll be joining me for a year or two in June!

Gonna have a mini vacation every 3-4 weeks. See some cool places, up close and personal, not zipping by at 65 mph.

Any suggestions?

Interesting parks?, Country style festivals?  Concerts?? Oddball museums??

Anything unique and fascinating a Crazy Trucker and his Country Living Wife might find worthwhile??

Hey CrzyTrkDude, my dad just retired from trucking. He was an over the road driver for my entire life, yet never missed a football or baseball game. He also competed in the many Ohio State Truck Rodeo competition and in '96 he won, which lead him to New Orleans where he participated in the National Event. He has a "Super Bowl" size ring commemorating the accomplishment (that he always tells my 15 month old son "that's your ring!") very proud of my father!

When you get a chance click the link below for a Pat Green song on YouTube, it reminds me of my father and the profession he succeeded in!

Thanks for letting me share, roll on!
