Black Friday, holiday shopping deals
Some good deals on HWs at a couple places this weekend ahead of black Friday.
On Friday (11-22) Wal-Mart is selling all mainline HWs for $.60
Dollar General has buy one, get two free. Usually they sell for $1.25=$0.42 each. This is for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Braved the Family Dollar store rush today. No more busier than normal! The cashier didnt know about the sale (even though there were tags up!). They rang up full price and then discounted when totaled . They have a small selection, but found a couple of ready to roll gassers, 3 Vettes for the wall display and a few others that look promising.
Are the pink cars still "limited production/low numbers sold" type vehicles. I found this pink "Bone Shaker" and dont recall seeing a pink car in a long long time!
got 4 pink shakers off the wally pegs last spring... $0.97... haven't seen one since...
I didn't see that many of that Boneshaker around here. Only reason why is because the d*** eBay resellers couldn't tell the difference between the regular and superized versions and bought them all. I only found one, and I'm building it for the Rat Rod Rumble race. So no, they're not made in limited quantities though. Cool stuff though Milton.
Hit my Dollar General on the way home from work. Got 12 cars for $5.00. They didn't have signs up or the flyer out. Cashier thought it was for next Thursday/Fri/Sat until she rang through three and they came up correctly. Can't beat that!
I had already hit up the DG last week when the shipper was put out and got the regular THs and some Star Trek ships.
Hoping they sell through the shipper from this sell, if they get up signs, so they will order more!

Didn't make it to Wallyville until late this evening. Not much left to select from, but the pegs were full. Picked up the new Rip Rod "all metal" base casting and the Meyers Manx for any future feather weights race! And my second favorite car brand - an Aston Martin DB5 and another 2014 Vette to test out on the trackl Also found a white Retro Active to replace one of the 3 green track team ones!
I've never gone to a "black friday" sale before (I don't want get trampled to death) Sounds like the stores pegs will get cleared and plenty of new stock will come in though. Even if I did go to my local Wal-Fart, it still wouldn't be worth it. They're still stuck on M or N cases.
