I just wanted to take a minute and say it's fantastic seeing all the new members and all the new post on Racing...Building cars and tracks...this place is the Mecca of Diecast Racing for info...mail-in Racing and just shooting the bull about the hobby. Also, love seeing the new tracks pop up in the Track Directory and people hosting mail-in races at their tracks.

So...from the bottom of my Racing Heart...thanks for the injection of new blood and enthusiasm into this great Sport of Diecast Racing

Yes, indeed....welcome all! Redline Derby Racing is a common ground where everyone can share their cars, their tracks, their racing, their passion, their fun.

We're more than a club or a channel, we're a true community, and we're always excited to see some new residents. And all we ask is that you please use Redline Derby as a resource to share your stories, learn from others, and help support the hobby.

To all the recent members that have stepped up and shared stories, links, photos...thank you. And to all that haven't quite yet, the water's just fine, so jump on in.

And as always, if anyone has any questions, problems, or ideas for how we can make Redline Derby better, please post or send a PM. We're all ears.

I'm really enjoying this site, loads of great advice and good to see pictures from other tracks.

Thanks for this site. As I got into the sport after seeing 3D's rally champs this year, I kind of stuggled to find any decent info about it all, until I found this site. It's such an awesome resource for everyone and I love that it is unbiased. There are great product reviews, tons of tips and tricks and lots of useful advice (unlike a lot of other forum based sites). Also having that list of all the different channels was a huge help and opened up a lot of new racing for me to watch, which was awesome.

You guys do an awesome job pulling it all together and I'm very happy to be part of the community.

I'm working on a 'Replays of the Week' video for this week, not just for the Canyon this time but also some other channels as well, to try and make it feel more like a proper motorsport with a weekly round up video of some close racing/wrecks etc - essentially a highlights reel that hopefully can gain a wider audience and draw more attention to the sport as a whole.

All I can I is that I couldn't have done it without your support. I'm doing races for a year but only recently I've discovered this awesome community.

Fyi:

I have a yt channel for another hobby that I have (rcs) running for 5 years, and have about 50 subs. The DCR Portugal was created about a month ago and already 15subs, and I already have more comments on my DCR videos that I've had in 5 years on the RC world.

All of this to show that's this community it's the most supportive and helpful kind of people that I've known, and I know who support me, and I'm proud to call some as brothers.

Keep it going and thanks for all the knowledge and information that is shared and found here every day!

  • We appreciate you...keep keeping on — LeagueofSpeed
  • Thanks, I will for sure, but o still have some changes to do on the channel, now that I've finished the DCR Portugal championship. I'm now starting the Street Wars but I'm always thinking in ways to expand what I already have. — Tracanas_DCRPT

I'm speaking of new guys with tracks and slow cars...this showed up today!

  • Sweet! — Chaos_Canyon
  • Cool! Are you USA-based? I had thought that they branded all of these sets as NASCAR in the US and the "junkyard" version in other markets butmaybe the sell both the NASCAR and junkyard versions in different stores in the US? — EcuWeeEcosse
  • Yep I’m US. This one is from Target. The NASCAR one is from Walmart. As far as I know, the only difference is the branding. — RustBeltRacing
  • Thanks, that's interesting (to me anyway). The track seems to be identical, it's just branding and licensing. Would like to be a fly on the wall at these boardroom decisions. — EcuWeeEcosse

Glad I found it, has helped my journey into this hobby and meeting great new people. My whole family has taken to it and your site has helped that. Also the alignment jig I didn't know about is awesome. Thanks for everything!
