Just saw this on the Hot Wheels Facebook wall...Mattel is making a car with a built-in camera! Pretty sweet...kind of expensive but would be great for the league, me thinks.

Man I have been waiting for that thing to come out for months now.... they had a small ad about it in Dec, but haven't seen anything else till now. And that's just for the pre-order.....

Oh well, It'll be good use for the track ads, lol

Video quality won't be great, but you'll get video angles that you wouldn't be able to get otherwise. That demo video looks pretty sweet though.

I'm tempted to buy this as well but I'm not convinced
that 30-60 frames-per-second is good enough to make
quality videos. Fun stuff to play around with though!

I'm thinking I can slow the car down then take care of the rest in editing. I'm just mainly looking at it for advertising use.

I'm thinking the impact of on track footage will balance out with the quality... or lack of quality. Either way It's paid for and we'll just have to see what I get, lol.

Maybe we'll get some Nashville footage
