Cheap short track at Dollar Tree, good for parts?

Happened to see this on the shelf of my Dollar Tree for $5.00...just a very generic short 2-lane downhill with all mechanical stuff. Surely cheap...but...might be worth the structure if someone wanted to make their own finish line or something. Use the toy as parts and add your own guts and stuff. Dunno...just sharing...

Is it compatible with Hotwheels tracks?
- I have no idea but I doubt it will be a plug-n-play situation. Likely would need some cajoling...but that's the fun :) — redlinederby
- It is compatible with hot wheels orange track. I bought several for the grandsons; they love it! I used the braceing for my practice drag strip with peg start gate and timer. Its perfect height for low short distance (12’ to 15’). Dollar Tree has other basic little items also; buildings and carwashes etc. Just right for setting a little diorama! — CaShMoneyBoyS

If you don't have a start gate at least this would provide a more even start than a hand lifted block of wood or a book....?
