Cleaning Cards
dr_dodge Saturday, 10/18/2025
I have lots of stuff (surprise)
one collection is a bunch of NASCAR stuff. Coke Family, Cerial boxes, etc
all printed cardstock.
When we redid the kitchen, did it as a 1950's dinner. Booth instead of table, checherboard floor,
Cobalt blue vinyl over the cabinets, and stainless.
we have a "weird nook" up very high.
That is where we put the coke stuff, and the cerial boxes. (like a whats on the menu thing...)
We are redoing stuff and cleaning, so I pulled them down, and yuck!
a film of grease and dust covers everything. I need to clean them. How?
Since the cerial boxes, and the coke 6 pack are similar to cards on HW, figured I'd ask here first
what has anyone used to clean the cardstock with?
don't want to mess them up

Hey Doc, you know if this stuff is important to you the first thing I would do before I touched it with anything kind of a cleaner is to dust off what you can very gently. Then get some decent lighting and take some high Rez photos. Because if things were to go badly, you could probably have those photos printed on poster sized pieces of paper and then reconstruct that exact look.
