Cool One confusion
An idea hit me at Walmart today. Put a SuperVan body on a Cool One base... So I took a Cool One off the peg, and it rattled. I have seen them before. Lots of them but never had the notion to look a second time, until tonight.

I cannot wait to get home this weekend to drill it open. Knowing me, I'll probably ruin 4 screw drivers on the metal rivits, or buy a drill bit and spin it with my fingers.
I'm not gonna sleep tonight. I just know it!

Ah... notice the tilt out windshield... bet you have one banging around inside... been wrong before !

Soooooo I ran it over with my truck ( grossing with a load of glass weighing in at 78,976 pounds....

Truth.... I really couldn't wait to drill it at home. So I busted it open just now, and found a casting peg/prong/Tab.... I dunno... But it is a piece of slag from a body casting.
Nowwwwwww... I can get some sleep. LOL

I've been looking at the Cool One too and seeing it as a great back end for longer hot rod front. I love the big back wheels. Haven't taken it apart but seems to be a good body for adding weight too. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
