I'm working on the exhaust on my sons car shortly, but the plan is to race trucks and rods later today/tonight so I can get them in the mail tomorrow. Results may not get posted until tomorrow but we'll see how the time frame works.
Was outta town for the holidays, catching but up again here.
Congrats to C10 and FS for their wins, mighty big targets on their backs.
Smitty, thanks for the comments on the #20 hot rod, it is being surprising. It also feels good to go into a final 4, I think that is a first for me and taking 3rd in a race is also a first for me. Feels mighty good indeed.
I was watching how Cortez is doing, and I think he is going to turn into quite a good little mod builder, he did a good job on his 55 and 57 chevs for the sedan races, look good and seem to roll straight.
B&G, well, I think I may have to try to give them a few tips.
We all learn something everytime we build a mod a race though, and that's as much fun as racing them and building.

Sorry for not doing this yesterday but I was a little under the weather. The problem with the computer has gotten worse so I can't upload the pics from my camera to Photobucket. The kodak program no longer allows me to email any pics so I can't send to anyone either. To make matters worse in my attempt to get everything wrapped, boxed, and mailed to C10 yesterday (I did), I also mailed all my RLD sheets I use to list the margins of victories in each race and really can't remember any, so unfortunately there won't be any blow-by-blow descriptions.
I modified my track so it was quite a bit different from what I usually run. I made it table top. The total race length was 13'-2". The starting line was 18" above the table top, with a 22" long drop at about 50 degrees. Racing as you can image was not that fast, but I wanted to provide a different setup from last week. There were many close races but also a few blowouts. I took pics and if I am able to, eventually I'll get them posted.
Trucks ran first this time.
