Custom for Organization
Does a custom HW notebook I slapped together today in my colors count as a custom? Lol!
In all seriousness, is anyone else like me and have one too many hobbies and needs to write down projects to keep track of? At least the trains and cars all use the same workbench and tools. How do you all stay on track?

As an electrical engineer in a previous life working in a lab environment and keeping notes of everything is second nature. So I use the workbook to record results of tests and experiments and to track the build progress and results of cars that I am going to race on Redline.
and of course, in conjunction with the workbook I will enter data into spreadsheets as needed to look for trends and that sort of thing. I am finishing my first year of racing in March and in the past year I have just about filled up one notebook.
I too used to work in a lab. Kept (and left) lots of notes.
but, my hobby stuff is absolute chaos
as is my work desk, and shop
(my hard drive for vids is just as bad...lol)
It's the plumbers house situation.
I will leave a postit note in a project I am putting up for later, thats about it

I have an xcel sheet I update any time I enter a race. It includes name of race, any restrictions (or requirements), weight limit, when the car is due at the track (and the absolute last day it needs to be shipped). I also note what car is used, and then how well it did.
