Diecast 64 Magazine

Diecast64 Friday, 1/5/2018

Hey everyone, I've got a new project I'm working on.  It's a diecast car magazine mostly focusing on Hot Wheels.  The first issue is now published.  In it I did an interview article with Brian on Redline Derby.

Anyway, if your interested and want to check it out, you can go to www.diecast64magazine.com.  You can see a preview.  If you would like to purchase this issue, use this coupon code. SSRPS7LRHMRV Then it will only cost $1.  The code expires Jan. 12th. So if you're interested, use it before then.

See ya on the track!

I just read through this first issue and it's great...and not just because my interview gets a good spread :)

You can tell Robby put a TON of work into this thing and it comes out great. Lots of nice photos, good articles and interviews with diecast folks...some you might even recognize (and not just me). This thing is like 100+ pages so it's not a cheap-o newsletter either - real deal here.

And more so, it's inspiring. I often have bad cases of the "it's been done already" and convince myself things aren't worth the effort...Robby reminds me that's just not true. You don't have to be original to do great work...you just need to have a vision and put in the time, and out will come good results.

Bravo to Robby C for starting what I'm sure will be a great addition to the diecast universe.

One thing to note...the site that publishes the magazine uses Flash, so you'll probably be limited to your desktop/laptop to read it. Tablets and such might have issues. Unfortunately, there is no download as a PDF or anything but I'm going to see about getting a printed version of this just to commemorate my interview.
