Here is how the track turned out.

This race is open to stock and modified cars, but enter a modified car at your own risk. These cars do take a bit of a beating. If a modified car comes apart at anytime during the race it will forfeit that race and it's challenger will move on to the next round.

  • Cars must be 60 grams or less.
  • Length: must be 3.75 inches or less
  • Height: must be 2 inches or less

  • The winning car this month in this class will be kept here at D64 to be raced in a "Car Of The Year" race at the end of the season. Cars running with bearings will not qualify for the "Car of the Year" Race.

Discussion

Point of clarification: Can the builder's challenge cars be any casting, including fantasy?

  • Yes! as long as you follow the guildlines and specs of D64..... I am going off the example of the video posted. — RIVERA_RACING
  • The only class you're limited in this month as far as castings go is modified street. — CrazyEights
  • Yup, any casting in Builder's Challenge — Diecast64

Mail is slow, hoping my cars get there in time.  Over two weeks.

Sent mine out this weekend...who knows if the USPS will be able to figure out how to get it there in a relatively timely fashion.

Matt

Makes no sense, my cars went all the way across the country in 4 days

  • UPS ships on time every time for me but USPS is always a couple days behind what they originally claim and will even warn you of such when mailing it out. Im ok with that but when it takes weeks (or doesnt show up at all) is when it gets old quick! I cringe when I have to ship to a PO Box these days...which is all the time lately! — Mattman213
  • If you dont like USPS try sending it if you can UPS Sure post. UPS handles the legwork and USPS delivers it. UPS and FedEx don't handle the volume of mail that USPS does, so it goes out quicker always. I used to sort mail at Wilmington Ohio airport and Greater Cincinnati airport. — CrazyEights
  • Interesting I usually ship from UPS store which also sends things out USPS as well so I'll ask them about that and see what they can do. — Mattman213
  • I use a PO box to get all my mail. If something comes UPS the post office usually delivers it. Unless its too bulky then we have to use the home address and the truck brings it. Like chewy.com comes on the truck where USPS delivers Amazon unless a truck is coming out here. A lot of times our driver is cool and will grab the sure post and bring it with him to save us a few days. — CrazyEights

I talked to my post office buddy in town when I mailed mine on the 8th. She told me all 2-3 day priority mail in now 3-5 priority. Mine took 5 days becuz as usual most mail sits in Cincinnati an extra day due to backed up mail and low employment rates.
