Dieselboy FTE...or not???

It has the FTE symbol on the card and on the bottom of the chassis and the axels do appear to be shiny...though the silver spokes makes it hard to tell.

Not a true "FTE"....just an international short card with the popular logo @ the time.
But that is a First Edition casting with the multi-piece body and abundant metal. Later versions got the inevitable Mattel 'plastification' treatment.
Dieselboy is a good get regardless, IMO. It always performed well.
