Wow...those are some awesome tracks. What kind of times are your cars posting, and what lenght is your track? Looks like some of your tracks are over 25 ft. The best times I personally have for a 20 ft track is a little under 2 sec. Do you have any problems with cars flipping at your transition (where your hill meets the straight)?
Thanks,
Preacher
if the cars jump just after the transition try putting a 1" thick section of very soft foam under that whole section of track...
like the rule ; every action has an equal and opposite reaction, so do the forces in the transition...
the foam should absorb a bunch of impact and also not let the full return of the axles to straight make the cars "leap" off the track surface
... i have not done this as i race drag tracks [plastic transfer] ... if this helps let the R.D.R. readers know.
A few more questions...
1. What is the favorite track (Since you several variations)?
2. How do you advertise to get people to come out to the race?
The reason I'm asking these questions is that we have recently started a Hot Wheels race after our last Sunday of the Month at our church. (It's open for everyone)
I'm thinking of using the "Super Six Lane" this Sunday and jacking up the ramp by using some 7ft boards to give it that extra speed....but need a few more pieces of track to make 20ft.

is each picture of a track, a picture of a different track..?... i spy one of the same blue finishlines as A.D.D.'s
i just can't buy a set that smashes cars... work too hard building altered racers... but the black govnr will get a try-out,
if it rolls well, it's axles are off !
.
edit ; chech out the nice n neet line-up of cars along the track in pix #3... cool !
I'am using several V-Drop Track set that comes with the Finish Flag.

Thank you. The length for the track is varied from 25 ft to 50 ft. We haven't check the times yet cause we still making the Electronic Time Sensor Finish gate. Yes, definitelty is always a problem where hill meets the straight and we are still working on it.

Thks for the advice and we will try to put 1' very soft foam under the section of track.

Answer :
1. Right now the favorit is The 50 ft Drag Race Track
2. In every city / states in Indonesia, we have a local Diecast Community Group and we work together with them to invite people to joint the race.
Wow the "Super Six Lane" Can't wait to see the picture.
I just love how you setup your track and race anywhere! Out the front door...in a conference room...on the street...talk about raising awareness. It's hard to not get involved when you plop a 25-foot track on the sidewalk.
Do you guys tend to do more custom build racing or stock? Just wondering...
Oh hey, forgot to ask if you've checked out the Fantasy League game yet here at Redline Derby? It's sort of online drag racing but we race on tracks all over the place here in the US. Wonder if there's a chance you guys could be an international host track?? Talk about awesome...

Right now I'am still introducing the Drag Race to Diecast hobbyist all around Indonesia, and the responses is so amazing. We are planning to have the standard 50 ft Drag Race track in every states like the ones you have in "Whittenbarger Memorial Dragway".
