Factory Wars {A NEW MAIL-IN}
I'm not sure if we can spare enough cars fast enough for this anyway...but are multiple racers from a household enter this series?
Send em on over anyway
Of course multiple racers per household! Get everyone you can involved. If you and Sinisterdog jump in, we'll have a total of 105 cars; a racing spectacle!
I wrote about it earlier, but the whole thing will take place here in CT. It will be a 6 part event. 5 tournaments to decide the top of each class, and one HUGE tourney with all the entrants to decide top 3 overall
We'll get some interesting stats on which brands dominate for Hot Wheels racing
I just re-read this thread looking for Mcjiggles track specs. Are they written anywhere?
Also, rules are rules, and in the re-read it looks like the classes that Cooper came up with originally got all twisted out of whack with the talk of mergers and acquisitions. There is a class for "NONE OF THE ABOVE⦠(could be different make or fantasy)" , IMO this is where all of the cars built before (and in some of the discussion WAY before) a merger took place. In the end it is all up to Mcjiggles as this is his race, but things sure got skewed quick! Just my 2 cents worth.
I'm for keeping things simple in that we go with McJiggles original group listings.
I would also like to know what his track specs will be.
Thanks Jim and Carl for the input. With the sheer number of entrants I'm not going to be picky bout what people enter, but I really would like people to stick to the categories decided upon. There is an OTHER slot so just put your undecided cars there.
And for track specs, refer to the Dueling Deliveries video.

We may increase the length for all-around races, and maybe decrease it when we move to 4 lanes for the final tournament. BUT one thing you can count on is the shallow down hill and a very long straight away. We love to see passing on the straight, so build cars that excel in the straight!
just wundrin... what if someone sends in [3] or [4] cars ? ... only because it has happened before, may need a future ruling.
cars ? ... only because it has happened before, may need a future ruling.
If that happens, its not really a big deal for this series. Sending less than 5 cars will really set you back in the All-Around, and will give you one or two less shots at winning the Individual Tournament. Its up to you though, dont hold back because you cant build 5.
Thanks; I'll see what I can scrounge together. Should be easier, now that a fourth BWF Camaro is on its way.
One other question: How long will this series last? And are replacements allowed? If I have cars in some local club's December Finals, I want to make sure they make it back in time.

Track looks awesome! This is a unique setup with the shallow start and the long straight -will make for some very exciting races. TOP notch video too.

What sort of propulsion do you suggest?

The racing will start in late April, and its not a series. Its a 2 part event. The first being the "All-Around" where each category will race in their tournaments and teams will add up points based on each of their cars finishes. And then one final tournament with all the cars that are entered. Top 3 in each will receive prizes, and hopefully every entrant will receive a small prize for participation.
Since there will no be shipping the whole thing should be wrapped up within two weeks, and everyone should get their cars back in May.

Yeah it creates for some much different racing. As we saw, the Armored Truck won here, where at every single other track, Carl's mini took the win. You may want to do some testing before sending them in. Weight distribution is key on our track
