Farm Toys

Disclaimer, there is only one Hot Wheels in the following pictures so please forgive me. As the school year is winding down, I am putting things away in my classroom and stumbled across some things I had forgot about. I have two good sized closets in my room and I tend to bring things from home and store them in my closets some times.

My wife grew up on a farm. The only time I was ever on a farm was to go hunting. She grew up showing cows and sheep at the fair. I grew up eating cows. When our boys were born, she did one of their rooms in John Deere stuff. I started buying them toy tractors. Seemed like a neat little toy and I like collecting things so the collection began. They mostly got the bigger tractors and they are stored in the garage at home but they also got a small collection of the smaller tractors and some how they ended up stored at school. I decided to pull them out during my plan period today and snap a few quick pictures. Anybody else grow up on a farm? Anybody think we could customize these and race them? :)

Sure we could. I have a few tractors around here somewhere...

The limitations would be the track size, starting gates and finish lines.  I have a slot car track with a few hills I can set back up!

hmmmm....interesting....this seems to be the same issue Smitty is having in the other thread...if you click on the image icon though it even takes you to my flickr page but the wrong image again?!?!?!

Here is the photo I do want...

When using the insert image button now, you have to use a different link on Photobucket than you use to. Before, I used the bottom link that had url at the beginning of it. Now I use the second link down. I think it is called direct link.

I started to collect 1/64 scale farm equipment in 2008, but with all the other hobbies I have, I can't afford it. If we were to hold a race like that, I think it would be cooler to hold a "tractor-pull" race of some sort. This 1/64 farm equipment customizer builds custom 1/64 pulling tractors:http://www.mooresfarmtoys.com/customtractors

By the way, in the 1st picture the gooseneck trailer isn't hitched correctly. It should be in the 5th wheel hitch in the bed of that pickup.

Lol I caught that after I had put all the stuff up. You can tell I didn't grow up on a farm.
