Fastest Faster than Ever
Friday, October 9th, 2026Nobody is asking for this, nobody is itching to race these, but here at Chase Family Racing... we would ike to offer something that is undesirable to most racers. Let's show some love to the overrated wheels that we all thought would be the missing piece to winning our first race :)
The goal is to race the fastest faster than ever castings ever raced, ever. Who wants to race for the glory and pride of knowing that you were once: The Fastest Faster than Ever racer, Ever?

- I don't care
- Each racer PLEASE send 1 stock FTE casting, real or fantasy and 1 modified entry.

How to enter
Send your entries to:
Chase Family Racing
17 N. Leverett RD
Montague, Ma 01351
Include at least $10.00, but if you are not from the USA, it will be more for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be kept, stripped, and turned into something even slower.
Include a Race Entry ID slip with your entry
Track
We will be racing on an updated version of the original Haywood Valley Raceway, which is 2 individual lanes from top to bottom with curves and a crossover curve.
Wide castings will be slower, so don't send one. Castings with larger fender flares will be slower, so don't send one... or shave them down. Also, coned wheels are not stable on this track, so don't cone them.
Race format and scoring
5 rounds of racing will occur during the initial part of the tournament.
The first 4 rounds will be points based. Random seeding, one lap in each lane.
The winner gets 3 points, non winner gets 1 point
Round 5 will put all of the racers tied in points against each other, then the entries will be divided into 2 groups: A and B. Based on point totals and number of entries received.
Then the timed racing will begin. Racers in each group race one another in each lane and the times are added up. The racer with the slower time is done, faster time moves on until we have the top 2 in each group.
The final 4 will face each other to determine the overall winner.
The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.
**If the scoring points thing isn't working out, I'll scrap it and just do something normal**
Bracket seeding will be random.
Penalties/DNF
Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.
If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.
Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing MIGHT BE repaired or replaced.
Prizes
Bragging rights and untold riches and probably some cool stuff
Discussion
Sounds like a fun challenge. All those FTEs I bought when starting to race may finally get some track time.
I'm in! And I find the description slightly offensive. I LOVE FTEs :)
