Wow, sounds like it was an awesome day. Gotta thank GSR again for proudly flying the RLD flag...and to all the other RLD guys that took time to travel and hang out. I wish I could have been there. Hopefully it's something that can become an annual event!
For anyone that took photos/video, please send me links or even the photos raw from your camera and I can upload them to the RLD collection on Flickr. And if anyone that attended is interested in writing up a little recap/highlight report, I will post that on the RLD blog with the photos. I'd love to have a follow-up of the day on record.
Tried to sleep...couldn't sleep...still too wired...gonna pay 4 it l8tr...
Carl, I want you to understand that I spread my "fear" of your 300C to many people today...but not on purpose! Before the heats began, people were wandering over, glancing at the boxes of bagged cars, and asking questions about the series...of coarse, the most popular question was "which one is the fastest?". So, I introduced them to your 300C(in the bag) and informed them of its present domination. Needless to say, when the 300C hit the line...people payed attention...hence the dramatic reaction.

Brian, it was a pleasure to represent! I think I can safely say that GeorgeB, WorpeX, and I worked well together...the hours just flew by for me! 'crazycollector' had someone shooting photos & video(presumably for the magazine) and WorpeX has footage as well. I purchased a camera just to use for the event, but I never had a chance to use it.
Oh, the "icing on the cake" was coming home to find that my RLD fantasy pics(...that I put very little effort towards) payed off this week...1st place!! WoooHooo!!
Awesome guys, looks and sounds like it was a lot of fun.
Amazing at the finish of the top 8 this race, especially Carl being not only knocked out of the top spot but the top 8...hell none of my cars made it either!
Cool that so many of the RLD gang got together to have some fun.

I took mostly video, not many pictures! The good pictures that I took i've already posted, haha. The others are just the starting line of a few races... mostly with my own cars or the ones which I thought were awesome looking (like the train and that awesome italia spider!) I stopped taking pictures after heat C or D and just went to straight video. haha. Once I make the video, ill make sure to link it to you, don't worry!
for those that didn't see it, here is GeorgeB's video: http://www.flickr.com/photos/66986734@N ... hotostream
Upon further inspection of this photo I can clearly see what happened to the Chrysler. I didn't know that there would be one of those criss cross sections. I set the car up for straight line speed!

Very cool! I liked watching our reaction to those races near the end.
Congrats to Tastelikedirt for having the only "not-stocker" in the Final 8!
thanks T.L.D. ... you got the torch... go with it man ! .... the leader board looks a little mellow without the "yellow"...

Just noticed there is only one custom, all the other cars are bone stock. Hmmm...
