First chop job is done

I took the running gear from a HW '57 Gasser and merged it into a HW '70s Van. There is a lot of JB weld involved .... for a first time I'm pretty happy. Not perfect but it rolls pretty good.

Here is a shot of the underside which came from the '57 Chevy gasser. I was able to use the bandsaw to remove about a 1/16 inch slice of material and then glue the pieces together. I used some pieces of axel wire as bracing on the inside. Once the slice was removed the mounting holes were just about perfectly matched up. That was lucky.
