For the Kids Custom Race (Mail In)
Here are the bracket results. See above for the car # that represents each car.
Qualifying Race (there were other races for the cars that lost along the way that I didnt scan in). These were the best two out of three, as noted in each race the number of wins.
Qualifying Race
And then there was the feature race. What I found interesting was that the results on the 2 foot high starting gate with a 17 foot track, pretty much carried over to the 50 foot track. We saw three of the same final four cars. The other car was the #5 seeded car.

The difference we saw was this time, Dadvball's 09 Caillac CTS-V took down the Everlings Authentic Performance 2011 Indy Car. Cade's Subaru took out my Skull Crusher. In the final, Cade's car easily won the championship race and he will get the prize pack that I had set asid for the winner. Will be working on the videos and pictures on Sunday. We didn't have tons of kids and if you don't see your car being picked this week, we are doing another drawing next month to the kids that show up. The adults were very appreciative of what was being done for the kids and I got many thanks for doing this, which goes right back to everyone that participated.
Feature Race
I am still amazed that this Subaru won. I think everyone spins the wheels to get an idea if that is a good roller. All four of his wheels roll for less than a second, not good at all. Yet on the track, the thing really hooks up going down the track. As the 8 year old Cade said to me, "Dad, you can't judge a book by it's cover." Maybe I need to take some tips from him.

I have to stop racing 8 year olds. Back in Feb. my 8 year old grandson beat me in the finals for the trophy at one of our LJLRC meetings. If the smile on Cades face was anything like the smile on my grandson's face when he won, makes no difference where I finished.

Was really surprised to see Cade's Subaru out front. I thought the Skull Crusher was my best chance. Onto the 50 footer tomorow for the Championship race to see what changes with these results. That is a one and done race. This race, I had different race offs to set the field.
