Fords Fords Fords: Old School / New School

Okay this is where Stroller totally loses his mind....

We only have ten entrants in this series. I was thinking of adding 12 more cars from my stock stash to raise the total number to 16 old and sixteen new school. These would be unmodified stock mostly old cars. This would fill out the roster. I'm naming these cars Mark 21 through Mark 36. I really hate doing byes or fighting to get in the starting column. This is a new idea so what do you guys think before I start digging and find I don't have 12 Fords................

Wouldn't it be eleven entrants if you add Weber Cabin? I don't see that team listed on page One.

Ok I corrected the Entrants list on page one. The only ones not here yet is Dadvball , Windswept, and Team HalfFast.
Also there is still a spot for K & O Racing. I will add whatever "Mark" cars that are needed to make 16 "entrants" and no I am not sending them along to the next Host. If you want to use this system you have to add your own cars. Either way is fine with me.............. ....Stroller.

remember the gassers series... we were 4 cars short...filled by hosts, I entered a car that met the wheel/ weight restrictions but had no fenders...darn thing won it... well i'll tell ya what... that was a mistake...
any sloppy "stand ins" will DNF in the second round no matter the out come...

I understand what you are saying and that sounds fair. My new track has a third track between the main race tracks , called the "Grassy Strip", this is where the Marks will run in the second round, but I really don't think they stand a chance.........

Well now that I have thought about it and got some good advice. I am not going to add any extra cars. It would not be fair to everyone. Please excuse my inexperience........ ....Stroller

MY other two cents - as long as each of the other hosts agree to do the same adjustments and limits (or better - use your same "marked" stocker cars) it should still be equally fair to each racer in regards to points. (Your stockers can be sent back to you at the end of the series with your build entries.)

If you decide to go with just the "official" cars, we just need to use a smaller bracket format, per the number of entries received. Again each host doing the same thing along the way.
