That was fun to watch Stroller! Congrats to Dadvbal's Fat 40 and the Stroller Stang on their wins.
Some really cool-looking entries, Sloppies (beauts as usual), Traction's black rat, Rally's Pinto, and Delta's duo, but I have to say my favs were the Hotrainiac entries -simply gorgeous -that Mighty Maverick in blue was fast too and was on it's way to victory until it derailed.
I agree last weekend's racing was exciting and surprising, but this weekend the track is faster much faster....couldn't get 30 ft of track in my tiny house but I got 24 ft, and the low and slow 6 lane track start is gone, replaced by a 6 ft ramp with 45 inch rise. So far the test cars have made the abrupt transition section with no incidents. What happens this weekend one does not know. Also JDC why weren't you in this one?......

Thanks for the compliment JDC. I'm trying for a new approach this year. Last year I did a few wheel swaps and added weight. I don't know if my cars were out of balance or the CG was wrong or what. This year I'm just doing a wheel swap on cars with a metal body and chassis and leave the weight and balance up HW or JL. I didn't even track test my entries. I put them on my slightly unlevel desk and they began to roll with no assistance. I figured if they are not competitive at least they will look nice.

There is only one overall winner, and second and third.......and winners in old school and new school....ties will be settled by a knife fight in the parking lot.... Or Smitty could run tie breakers in each school for first, second and third place.....
