My 2 cents - I was thinking more that a Ford bodied Mustang that is from a designated Shelby series production run by FOrd would be okay, but not a Shelby designed/produced by body. Most racing series recognize the factory/builder as the name of the race car is my reasoning.

FYI - seems like during the FACTORY WARS races JDC ran a Cobra in the Ford class.
