Mail-in promo car from Mattel, please help.
So I guess I'm not really getting this.
I just bought $20+ in Hot Wheels and got my cars and receipt.
So now do I send my receipt to the designated address (Plus the $14 handling and shipping), or my car's cards (Plus the $14), or do I send the cars, receipts, and of course, the $14.
This is all due 4-20-2024, today is 4-16-2024, so do I mail them before the 20th, or does it have to get to them before the 20th?
Also, if I'm missing anything, please let me know.

- So if I wanted to just do (a), I could just do (a), or do I have to do (a) through (d)? — LottaSpeedRacing
You need to send in all those things. The receipt(s), the card backs, and the proof of payment.
When I did this in years past, I would pay the $7 online and then include that confirmation in what I sent to Mattel.
And it says postmarked...which means it needs to be in the mail by the date, not received by that date.
- Well shoot, I wanted to keep those as collectables mint condition. But I have opened some 2024 cars, so can I just use their cards so that way I can keep my mint condition mint condition? — LottaSpeedRacing
- The cars cardboard has to match the receipt, don't send in different ones. — LobotomyScam
- I'm guessing if the car is relatively recent then it'll be fine...most of my receipts just say "Hot Wheels Toy" on them anyway, nothing specific. — redlinederby
- Yeah, that's what I was thinking, seeing as how not every Hot Wheels has it's very own barcode. — LottaSpeedRacing
- They do, however, have assortment codes above the barcode. If he sends in cars from the last four years he SHOULD be good to go. — LobotomyScam
I bought 17 individual cars and one 5-pack. I've opened no 5-packs, so do you think that I'll need to get another to open and send in, or can I send in enough cards to value $20 before taxes?
If I can't, I'll just go back to the store, and buy another 5-pack, and individual cars, that I already own, so I can open them up and send them all in.
Here are the Hot Wheels Cards that I found. I know some of them are way out of the question to send in (Like the Carbonator, and the Gotta Go), but they may be worth mentioning.
NEW problem. I can for sure get one Nissan Promo car, but I went back to Dollar General to buy more cars, and I bought over 30 so I could open them, and use their cards for the first batch. But when I bought the others, I used the same receipt, so now I bought about 60, some of them in mint condition, so I can't use their cards, but they total the $40 limit for two cars.
On the second receipt, there are two 5-packs and other stuff that I bought. Thoughts?
So...
How do I get to the order form?
I think you send the cards, the receipt, and the $14
