Gasoline Gorge - A new Post-Apocalyptic track and race style
Just WOW!
This is going to be EPIC! I'll be putting together a new version of team 'Highway Hooligans' for the event! Great job, as usual!!!
- Don't start building just yet as there are going to be a few rules that are quite different to any other tournament as we integrate the table top style of scoring as well but looking forward to having you on the new track. — Chaos_Canyon
That is outstanding work, so congrulate yourselves and take a bow. I'll be keeping an eye out for the "when" to get involved and looking forward to the "how" of being successful...and kissing up to Lady Luck will be in the mental preparation it would appear, as sometimes it's better to be lucky than good...once again, job well done!!!
- Thanks! We're starting with our own teams, to show everyone how the racing will look, how scoring works and how to balance your team for longevity etc, then we'll look to open up to other builders. — Chaos_Canyon
- I'll be on the lookout — GBURacing
Quite spectacular, my friend! Should be super fun to watch and cheer for...the track!! This is totally a slasher movie thing where you want to just watch cars get kicked off the track, lol
One of my favorite old Xbox360 games was Split Second which was a racing game that acted like a game show, and the tracks had "hidden" moments like this where things would swing onto the track, helicopters that drop things, and explodsions, etc...and you'd have to react quickly or die. So much fun, highly underrrated, IMO.
And there better be a Doof somewhere on that track!
- Gotta have the Doof to blast out the music! — SpyDude
- Thanks! It was fun integrating the giant swinging weight, the dump truck and the head on marauders. Even the shortcut lane that is totally random if a vehicle takes it or not, and if they don't make the jump and land in the toxic pit then it's instant death for them but if they can make it and land it there's a good chance they'll get first place. Now, those traps will only be active during the death race matches, apart from the shortcut lane which is always open, but it should still make for some dangerous action as cars can still fly off the side of the track, get tangled up with other cars and generally brutalise each other. Hopefully it'll be lots of fun to watch and everyone gets their head around the new scoring and combat system easily enough. — Chaos_Canyon
Being an apocalyptic track, with lots of carnage, who do we contact/bribe to get more points (aka cheat) ? Someone has to know the main character right? A sneaky "under the table" gift might help improve one's chances?
This is a completely hypothetical question of course.... ;-)
- I mean... Frank (aka Toe Stubber) has a very high table, so things can pass easier below it — Chaos_Canyon
- I have a Maccas Big Mac voucher, a 4 CD set on "How to speak like a New Zealander" and ill probably throw in the Mother-in-law since she's started to wear out my patience ;-) — EnZedRacing
I so want to make a war rig to race!
My son and I watched this together and he was like "dad, we need to submit a car in their tournament!"....looking forward to seeing how this plays out! Congratulations on building a fantastic track! God bless!
This looks awesome! I can't wait to see the action!
Been watching you since 2020. You guys are amazing track builders, amazing hosts, the absolute best advert cre8rs????????????and like you i have to have jumps! Can't contain my excitement!!! Any ideas? If you know of anything that helps contain excitement share the advert please. ??????????????????

Suggestion:
Since you have "war rigs" racing on the track, what about using them as blocker vehicles, rolling roadblocks? Maybe you could sneak in a hidden start gate somewhere along the track, and have it triggered by passing cars, like you did with the dump truck. Now you have a four-car race, AND you're being chased by a rig that is intent on flattening you.
3D did a hidden start gate on one of his tracks when he wanted to trigger the police cars. Not saying you have to, but whatthehell .... add even more interest to the track?
