Gasoline Gorge round 1 of racing

It's finally here, the first round of racing on the new Chaos Canyon Gasoline Gorge track. There is a lot to take in on this first video as we go into some of the rules/scoring and how things work before the racing starts. Like any new concept, it may take a few watches before you get your head around everything that's happening, but there's plenty of action to keep you going as well.

Just watched and well done, as always! I was really hoping one car would get into that shortcut, lol - maybe next time. And I now understand that not every race has all the hazzards...just a normal race with the fuel/ramage rules. I think the rules and stats do add quite a bit to watching the race, very neat.

Hmmm...do you ever a quasi-live race and poll people for choices, like voting for team swaps and stuff? I guess given your time zone and commentary that would be difficult but could be a neat way to get people engaged and playing without all the overhead of shipping and such. Or maybe you do for subscribers? Kinda like fantasy league pick'em or something but more RPG-ish...dunno...just thinking out loud after watching b/c I was like "no, don't swap in that guy!" lol

I've thought about doing a live session a lot of times but there's two main things stopping me. Timezone that works for max audience is more difficult for times that suit me most and then live video there's no slo-mo, these races are slowed to 65% and the cars still move really fast, watching it full speed it's almost impossible to keep up, especially with all the new rules in this series. I am considering doing a pick your ride type thing and building more vehicles (have done this in the past for a couple of tournaments) but will see how I go. — Chaos_Canyon
I was even thinking something where maybe your paid subscribers basically vote between races or something. It wouldn't be live exactly but still let them choose some things between your racing. Or it's like super short videos for that limited audience, you race based on their vote, what the general public sees is all of them smashed together in a single video at the end. Nothing practical, lol...just big idea dreaming here. — redlinederby
