GASSER WARS 2/ CHEVELLE CUP

I picked up this morning at the PO Box packages from Kracon.

Nothing from Worpex yet. Today is Saturday. Does UPS deliver on Saturday?

So, If Worpex car was here we would have eight Chevelles. If I wait till Monday to see if it arrives then it wouldn't be till Tuesday for the race. Realistically the cars wouldn't get in the mail till Wednesday. Which might not make it to JDC442 in time for the next race/weekend.

There seems to be an open date the following weekend after the JDC442 race. If people want to wait a week for the car from Worpex to arrive. That's fine with me, but it also depends on JDC442 schedule if he's available and no race as been scheduled for that open date in two weeks.

What does everbody think about pushing things back a week? Is there a negative I'm not thinking about? Is this a possibility?

Sounds like a good possibility to me as long as JDC is good with it.
I was going to take whichever date didn't get filled, so I'll go with the last race.

On a somewhat related matter, what do you guys want to have for a race next?
Maybe we need to do something different to attract more of the Redlinederby crowd. What do you think?

I don't think you can change thread titles or I would change it to something like "Gasser Wars 2/ Chevelle Cup (Official Series).

Also, I could start a new thread with that title there's not much in this thread but talk about cars arriving. No need to clutter up the board/add confusion though. Next time.

Sorry for holding things up guys... I sent the car on Tuesday.... I don't know what happened. It usually takes 3 days to ship from PA to CA. Should have arrived by now... wish I had the tracking number handy so I can look it up, left it at work. :/

I like this idea. We could all send in a couple of our fastest cars that match the cars that have been retired from the Fantasy League. This would be cool as long as everyone doesn't end up sending in the exact same cars.

The Hall of Fame cars, but you are also permitted to modify them. Maybe give the mods a slightly higher weight limit than the stockers (and race them all together). So people could still choose weather they wanted to send mods or stockers...Maybe a stock class and a mod class. Depends on how much interest there is.

UPS Tracking says it should be there today by the end of the day. Didn't realize it would take so long... the last time I sents cars to you it only took 3-4 days. Oh well! Now I know for next time that UPS isn't always that reliable! Thanks for waiting everyone!
