not because my cars did well, but because this "play by play" that the hosts are posting is a blast ... i couldn't go to bed,
i thought shure the DASTARDLY DEMON would spank my GUILFORD GASSER again in the finals...
we'll see "WHO" likes to race HALF FAST this weekend
A lot of the races were seriously close going down the stretch. I was really impressed with the Vista Cruiser's speed -it runs so high, that it sails. Econo's Shoebox ran straighter than an arrow and was hard to take down. My fierce competitor award goes out to Nightstalker's Nova -it's a very handsome car and never lost by more than a smidgen. I was most impressed with Taste'sLikeDirt's '64 Chevelle -it knocked off competitors left and right and was only taken down by the Dastardly Demon.
Thanks for letting me host the races Carl, it was a complete blast! Good luck to everyone down in Texas

In these brackets 5th & 6th places are tied as are 7th & 8th places. For these places I added the points and divided by two.

Awesome job JDC!! I have to admit that this is a fun tournament to follow. These picture results are great and the cars are gorgeous! Great battle for first so far between the 3 window and the demon!

I was watching the Chevelle move through the brackets, and I was more and more surprised each time it won.
i see what you mean T.L.D., at a quick glance it looks like the #48 car won more races than that DASTARDLY DEMON...
