Sounds like a good idea.
You could seed the new cars against the fastest cars as punishment for being late. Well, not exactly as punishment...more like a reward to get to race, they can hop in at the bottom.
I'm not sure but, I think with the Featherweights cars were randomly paired up. The only concern was nobody racing against themselves in the first round.
ditto on the tardies, they do have the lowest scores so far !
#1 vs. one of #13 to #16...
I.M.O. ...where in as this should be the only heet that we need to place new entries... placing them in a fair order should be at the descretion of the track host... again I.M.O. ...
The seeding by rank with the new guys on the bottom makes sense, but on the other hand I'd like to give some of the 0-2 cars a chance to get a few wins. Being the host, I just may seed the cars a little more creatively than merely seeding by rank alone. Can't wait to see what Jason came up with -hopefully his cars arrive today. If they look really fast, I'll set them to race against the Sloppy Jalopies right away
what we have here is chivalry, with 442 not wanting to appear trying to give his own car an advantage, vs. what's fair... DEMON is #1 have him race #16, demon has earned it... the hard way !
They should be seeded by appearance.

By just looking at these cars, they seem as though they will be lightning fast. If we seed them 15 and 16 because they showed up last, then number one and two will have a frightening first heat. Well, so be it!
Looks like we should have 16 cars going for the Washington leg of the series with the addition of Jason and Daniel's entries. I'm going to seed the cars by their current rank in my double elimination brackets. I thought I'd throw the new cars somewhere in the middle. Any thoughts?
