Goin' racin' this weekend...finally
Yea, that's right...I figured its about time that I got my yet.
While I'm still uncertain which cars I'll be entering, I leaning towards the undefeated cars from the RNL. They've already been retired from any future 'mail-ins'...but not participation events. How will they do on a 15ft 'Expert Drag Track'?...we'll see.

Thanx for the encouragement, folks.
I've been testing on a 15' 'kicker' track this week. The finishing speeds are bit higher than an Expert track, so I'm basically testing for speed instead of longevity. My 'Front Runnin Fairmont' is still very formidable, but it did lose to a Cadillac V16 this evening. Believe it or not, the Caddy is a stock 2013 version w/Blings. It was freakishly fast out of the blister and is the quickest V16 I have. Also in contention for a roster spot, my modified MBX 'Olds Aurora'. It took down the LeMans Challenge winning 'Sol Aire CX4' in very close heats despite weighing 10g less. Its a pretty wide car, so I'm thinking it might be even faster on the wider Expert track.

Good luck, and take no prisoners.
I've just returned from MD and I'm very happy to say that the "C4 monkey" is 'Screamin Hauler' in the final heat.
The "Run what U brung" class had been previously dominated by a Probe funny car(Hershey's) owned by RLD member 'hwminion58'. This car had a 35-1 record

* hwminion58's Probe FC's had only lost to one of model40fan's fast-n-heavy "Sloppies" customs

Sounds like you had a fun day. Congrats on taking out the top gun!
And congrats Smitty for being the first to do it.
