Good racing last night!
I started my pub racing again last night now that it's cooling off a bit down here in Texas.
Awesome turn out last night! Raced 22 cars on the 25' track. Carl came in from out of town in his sweet 1966 Econoline van with many cars and two cars from a friend of his as well. Well his friend Jim went on to smash the competition with a Ford F-150...thing was a demon on the flats, not really not that heavy. Other heavy hitters were the VW Thing FTE, Javelin FTE and the Ferrari 458 FTE.
Some of the ladies had glow sticks and decorated the track prior to racing...too fun. Carl at the start gate there...
Lots of good natured fun and rivalries here with the usual winner out of the game early.
And great to see my stickers on some sweet rides in the parking lot...my friend Devin's custom 1959 Impala

Now that looks like a really good time.

LOL, That's the first thing I saw as well.
Looks like a damn good time brother... I'll make it down there one of these weeks. I'll bring the Camaro and the EVO just for shits and giggles.
WOW, what a great bunch of racers and some really good racin'! All in one place you get the best pub grub, wonderful beer selection, nice cars in the parking lot and it's all topped off with a great night of racing. I hadn't had a car roll down the orange track in many years and now I'm hooked. Too bad it all takes place 4 hours away. From the looks of Paul's website Kat is hooked too.

I'm two hours out myself Carl, but let me know next time you head out there and I'll definitely try to be there.
Ha, those glow bands are a good idea. I might need some track lighting too during this last season as it gets dark earlier. Sounds like a lot of fun and racing down there in Texas...jealous!
