I see a FTE donor car! Nice.
Is that a custom paint job? That's a sweet lookin' ride!
carl is sub-framing his gassers, as opposed to remounting the axles underneath... this is what is cool about racing... we shall see which method prevails...

Naw, Jobe figured it out . . . it's a 2010 FTE car.
If I can't run the FTE wheels I'm going with an FTE car.
Now people are gonna' figure out it's not the wheels, it's the car!!!

I am mounting the axles underneath.
I guess you could call it sub-framing. I cut the front axle's 'cradle' off of a Madfast and trimmed it to fit. Then JB Welded the axle to the cradle and the cradle to the base afterward. If anyone need more info on my method PLEASE let me know.
Killer!
So you're kinda just cutting and pasting huh
I see what you did now, cool and more stable and secure
Do those thin front wheels aid racing ?
no, but they might help ya get chicks !
they are the required front wheels for the gasser challenge, contact econo-carl for the most recent updates...
Do those thin front wheels aid racing ?
Like Smitty said, they don't aid racing at all. We're just trying to get more people into building customs.
